Notes Pantaloon had taken seven dhows during a cruize between Muscat and Aden. In six of these vessels Captain Purvis found upwards of 200 enslaved people, who were liberated. The seventh, which was detained on suspicious equipment, was released after investigation. Based on this information, seven cases were created, whereby the average number of enslaved people would have been 33-34 people. Plotting capture locations is less certain, but are spaced out between Muscat and Aden along the southern shores of the Arabian Peninsula.
