Notes Le 16 mai 1816, le navire est condamné "comme propriété française engagée dans la traite des esclaves, sous la couverture de faux papiers espagnols, "and for a breach of 46 geo. 3 cap.", c'est-à-dire l'acte d'abolition voté par la Chambre des communes et approuvé par le roi d'Angleterre, le 25 mars 1807. Pour la première fois, un acte de répression contre un navire français fait état de l'utilisation de faux papiers, usage qui l'apparente à un pirate.
