Notes il seré monté à Saint-Louis du Sénégal. Jugé et condamné le 9 mai 1827, il est immédiatement vendu par l'administration coloniale avec un autre navire, Les Deux Frères. La liquidation définitive, à Brest, le 30 octobre, donne à répartir 12 381 F à l'état-major du Genie, et 24 663 F aux 102 hommes de l'équipage : la somme est versée un mois après. Chaque marin du coiseur a touché une prime de 243 F, représnetant six à sept mois de son salaire ordinaire.
