Notes Seize jeunes rachetés arrivaient à Malte en 1881. Orignaires des mêmes régions, cinq autre vinrent s'y adjoindre en 1884, et six en 1890. Leurs enseignements étaient des sciences médicales à Malte. Après leurs études médicales de qualité diverse, ils n'avaient droit à aucun diplôme; mais Lavigerie d´sirait la sanction d'un papier officiel, et sur sa demande les professeurs délivrèrent des certidicats d'assistance aux cours et de bon travail.
