Notes The Favorite cleared out from St. Thomas and she was, in every respect, ready for embarking her slave deck laid, and she was, in every respect ready for embakring her slaves, which, to the number of about one hundred and twenty, were at the Factory on Shore. A French Schooner, who was waiting there for slaves, having told them [the Favorite] that the [British] Primrose was on the coast. Proof of the utter hopelessness of putting an effectual stop to the trade, so long as His Majesty's Cruizers shll be prohibited from making captures, where wretched victims, prepared for embarkation, are not actually found on board. En dépit de la source française, on ne voit pas trace de cette capture, de la vente en septembre 1829, ni d'une liquidation à répartir. Mais, capture à Marie-Galante, et condamné et vendu.
